Mitzvah Day is about communities volunteering  their time to make a difference to others

At SHEMA we love baking so are going to  bake our favourite biscuits and then deliver biscuit boxes to members of our community and others in our neighbourhoods who may not be able to join us.

We invite you to:

• Share your favourite biscuit recipes with us beforehand so we can get the ingredients

• Invite your friends along to the bake. Mitzvah day emphasises the importance of interfaith activities so please bring your non-Jewish friends.

• Bring along a donation of tinned or dried food, sanitary items or cosmetics as a donation to the Borehamwood foodbank
